Motorcyclist killed after colliding with minivan in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A motorcyclist from San Antonio is dead after a collision with a minivan on the north side Tuesday.

According to My San Antonio, the incident happened after the motorcyclist was involved in a race with a sports car within the 15100 block of Nacogdoches Road. After a few blocks, the driver of the sports car turned off of the road as the motorcyclist was still traveling at a high rate of speed.

A minivan driver struck the motorcyclist while attempting to switch lanes as he was still speeding along the road. The man was thrown from the bike and died as a result of his injuries.

No charges have been filed against the minivan driver as of Wednesday evening.
