Wrong-way driver fatally collides with another vehicle on I-610
HOUSTON, TX – A wrong-way driver died after they hit another vehicle on I-610 near North Braeswood Boulevard on Tuesday, according to Click 2 Houston.
The driver of a Black Hyundai Tucson was heading the wrong way on I-610 when they collided with a black Volkswagen Atlas driven by a 32-year-old woman around 5 p.m.
The driver of a gray Chevrolet Trax swerved to avoid the collision and hit a barricade.
First responders transported the 32-year-old woman, her two children, and the Chevrolet driver to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Hyundai driver died in the wreck.
It is unclear if impairment played a role in the incident.
