1 person killed in hit-and-run pedestrian crash on E Ben White Blvd
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was killed in an apparent hit-and-run crash on Ben White Boulevard this morning, according to information from KXAN News.
The collision happened near the intersection of Alvin Devane Boulevard and E Ben White Blvd at around 7 a.m., when a pedestrian victim was struck by a driver. The driver then fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation at this time as police continue to search for the suspect driver. No arrests have yet been made.
