15 year-old pedestrian fatally hit by vehicle on Spring Cypress Rd.
TOMBALL, TX- A missing special needs teenager was hit and killed by a vehicle on Spring Cypress Road in the early morning of Feb. 27th, KTRK reports.
After leaving home the previous night and missing all that night, the 15 year-old young man was hit around 5:30a.m. at 11400 Spring Cypress. He had been walking northbound when the accident occurred, and he was pronounced dead when authorities arrived on the scene.
The windshield of the vehicle that hit him was left with major damage while the driver who hit the teenager stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.
No injuries were reported to have been suffered by the driver.
The eastbound lanes of the roadway were closed off to traffic as authorities responded to the call and investigated the scene.
