32 year-old male killed by pickup in Houston
HOUSTON, TX- A female driver killed a man who was jaywalking on Little York Road on Monday, Houston Police Department reports.
A woman, 31, was driving a GMC truck and swerved to the right to avoid a vehicle in front of her that stopped suddenly on Little York Road at 4:45p.m. on Nov. 7th. In doing so, she ran over a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was not using the crosswalk at the time of the incident.
The victim was taken to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital and was later pronounced deceased. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has not officially released the identity of the deceased man.
The driver was later recently by authorities. It was determined that she was not intoxicated.
The investigation is ongoing.
