80 year-old woman passes away in collision on Hidden Valley Drive
HOUSTON, TX- An elderly woman died after her car struck a pickup truck at the intersection of Hidden Valley Drive and Bunny Run Drive on April 18th, the HPD reports.
The black Toyota Tacoma that was struck by the woman’s white Ford Edge had been heading north on Bunny Run. The Ford had been simultaneously been driving east on Hidden Valley when they crashed at the intersection close to 1001 Hidden Valley Drive around 5:40p.m.
Neither driver heeded the stop sign at the intersection.
The woman is suspected to have had a medical problem that played a part in the collision. Upon arriving at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, she was reported to have died.
The other driver, a 55 year-old male, was questioned by police. He was determined to not have been influenced by any intoxicating factors.
