Major semi-truck accident blocks all lanes on I-290 in Cypress
CYPRESS, TX – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a major collision involving a semi-truck in Cypress early Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report by Texas DoT Houston, the incident occurred shortly after noon in the westbound lanes of US-290, between Mueschke Road and Mason Road.

Very few details about the crash are available at this time. However, all main lanes of the freeway were shut down, halting traffic back to Spring Cypress Road.
