Hit and run involves pedestrian in E. Houston
HOUSTON, TX- A 32 year-old died after being run over by a black Chevrolet on Tuesday in east Houston, abc13 reports.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office found the pedestrian in a ditch near the scene at 1000 Nadolney Street.
An attempt was made to save the pedestrian who had sustained major injuries, but the victim died at the scene.
There was another pedestrian present at the time of the incident. This person reported that they heard the black Chevrolet accelerate right before the incident. It was also reported that the Chevrolet did not have its headlights on.
The investigation for this case continues.
