Argument results in a pedestrian’s death on East Freeway
HOUSTON, TX- A man was fatally run-over on East Freeway when he was crossing the road on April 10th, KTRK reports.
The vehicle struck the pedestrian on the westbound lanes around 5:15a.m. near Freeport Street.
The victim had been crossing the road for the second time with his girlfriend when he was hit. Both pedestrians had exited their vehicle and crossed the road after having an argument.
The driver continued driving until he was able to stop at a gas station. He then proceeded to call 9-1-1. This person waited for the authorities at this gas station and cooperated with law enforcement.
After first responders arrived, the pedestrian was taken to the hospital where he later died.
This investigation remains open.
