Department of Corrections vehicle hit on Highway 59
POLK COUNTY, TX- An inmate and two of the officers that were in charge of transportation were hit by another car on Highway 59 on March 19th, Click2Houston reports.
The crash happened around 8:30a.m., while the Department of Corrections vehicle was heading north. It was about two miles out from Goodrich when the accident happened, and then all three individuals were hospitalized following the incident.
The two officers were admitted to Kingwood Hospital while the inmate was treated at Memorial Hermann. No one suffered life threatening injuries.
