Hit-and-run driver strikes, kills man near Willowbrook
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Houston Police Department, a hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a man at 8300 F.M. 1960 on Feb. 28.
A driver hit Tyler Hessong, 32, who was walking in the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk at around 7:30 p.m.
First responders pronounced Hessong dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the driver fled the area.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit or to call Crime Stoppers.
