Man fatally crashes into tree line on North Freeway
HOUSTON, TX – A man is dead after he crashed into the treeline on the 17300 block of the North Freeway on Friday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
A Black male was driving a white Honda Accord north on the North Freeway erratically at high speeds. He lost control of the vehicle, went off the roadway, and slammed into the tree line around 2:38 a.m.
The collision split the Honda in half and ejected the driver from the vehicle.
Positive identification of the victim is pending due to him sustaining severe facial injuries.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
