Man run over in hit-and-run near Beltway 8
HOUSTON, TX- A young man in his twenties fell out of a car near the Beltway and was subsequently run over by a vehicle that left the scene on March 20th, KTRK reports.
The vehicle that the victim was in had stopped on the road and the person had ejected a pallet out of the car. It is not known why this was done. Law enforcement were told by a sibling that the victim had been visibly upset before he fell out of the vehicle that was parked on the Beltway near Bissonnet Street.
After landing on the Beltway, the young man was then run over and killed by a white pickup truck. This car then proceeded to leave the scene.
Other cars passing by this area were affected by the pallet pieces that littered the Beltway but no more crashes seemed to result from the incident.
