Motorcyclist dies after crash with divider on I-45 feeder in north Houston
HOUSTON, TX — A 58-year-old man was killed Wednesday night when his motorcycle collided with a divider off Interstate 45 in north Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The fatal crash happened in the 10000 block of Interstate 45 (North Freeway) service road, in the Greater Greenspoint area. It was first reported at around 8:00 p.m.
According to the HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division, the man was driving a blue Honda VT1300 motorcycle northbound when, for reasons still being investigated, the motorcycle hit the divider between the freeway entrance ramp and the service road.
The male rider was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics, confirmed officials.
No other people or vehicle appear to have been involved.
Authorities have not yet indicated a potential cause of the crash.
