One killed in Gulf Freeway pedestrian collision
HOUSTON, TX- One person was injured and subsequently pronounced dead after a pedestrian crash on the Gulf Freeway on Saturday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
At approximately 7:20am, a pedestrian lying in the roadway near the 10500 block of the southbound Gulf Freeway service road was struck by a pickup truck. Medical officials arrived to the scene of the incident and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The crash is still under investigation, but no charges have been made at this time.
