Parent runs over pedestrian during drop-off in Wallisville
HARRIS COUNTY, TX- A parent killed a pedestrian while dropping off his daughter at a Harris County school on Oct. 13th, Click2Houston reports.
The incident occurred at 15600 Wallisville Road when the parent was taking his daughter to school at Lance Corporal Anthony Aguirre Junior High School.
The victim had gone out for his morning walk when the accident occurred.
After the parent hit the man, he stayed at the location of the incident.
The Harris County Sheriff Office responded to the scene.
As a result of the incident, there were significant closure of the lanes on Wallisville Road. There was also a delayed start of the school day as classes were pushed back to begin at 10:30a.m.
