Person fatally struck while helping victim of another crash on Anderson Ln
AUSTIN, TX – A person who stopped to help a driver involved in a crash was fatally struck by another driver on Anderson Lane early this morning, according to KXAN.
The initial crash happened at around 4 a.m. in the 1100 block of E Anderson Lane and involved a single vehicle.
A driver passing by stopped to render aid, and while they were outside of their vehicle, they were then struck by a third driver.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the site of the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate at this time.
