Police investigate deadly single-vehicle crash on Antoine Dr
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Houston Police Department, one person died, and another person was hurt in a single-vehicle collision at 7700 Antoine Dr on Monday.
A 57-year-old man was driving a silver Chevrolet Trailblazer around 10:20 p.m. at high speed north on Antoine Dr when he struck a curb, hit a mailbox, collided with a street light, and slammed into a tree before rolling over. The driver was ejected in the collision.
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene and transported a passenger to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Officials will release the victim’s name pending notification to family members.
The HPD Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
