Semi-truck crash blocks two lanes on IH-10 WB near downtown Houston
HOUSTON, TX — Authorities responded to a crash involving a big rig Friday afternoon on Interstate 10, north of downtown Houston, according to Houston Transtar.
The accident impacted the westbound lanes (Katy Freeway) at Houston Avenue and was verified by officials at 1:07 p.m.
Little information has been released at this time, but two vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, were involved. The right shoulder, right lane, and center lane were all blocked following the crash.
By 1:51 p.m., at least 40 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene from the interstate and all lanes were restored to traffic.
Local agencies have not confirmed any serious injuries in connection to the incident.
