Semi-truck driver hits bridge in northeast Houston
HOUSTON, TX – Traffic was snarled in northeast Houston after a semi-truck driver hauling a crane and lumber slammed into a bridge on 1-610 North Loop WB near Homestead Rd on Thursday morning, according to ABC 13.
The driver hit the bridge around 9 a.m. The crane fell off the truck and fluid spilled on the roadway.
Emergency crews closed down the area for around two hours to process the scene.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
