16 year-old dies in single vehicle motorcycle accident on Hardy Toll Road
HOUSTON, TX- A young man died on Sunday, Feb. 19th, when his motorcycle crashed into a wall and fell off Hardy Toll Rd. onto Frisco Street below, the HPD reports.
Around 3:50p.m., the blue Kawasaki motorcycle left its lane and hit the highway’s wall as the young driver attempted to get on the ramp for Interstate Highway 610 westbound.
Upon striking the wall at 6301 Hardy Toll Road, both the driver and the motorcycle were pushed over the edge. Both then fell onto 6100 Frisco Street, which lay below the site of the crash.
The teenager died at the scene and has not been publicly identified yet as his identity is pending notification.
Authorities made no mention of other factors that may have contributed to the crash other than loss of control of the vehicle.
