Driver drives into church on Tidwell Rd. leaving 1 passenger severely injured
HOUSTON, TX- A passenger of a vehicle that crashed into a car, gas meter, and church on Tidwell Rd., was seriously injured after being impaled by a pole on Jan. 15th.
Click2Houston reported that the driver crashed into Calvary Pentecostal Church of God at 7:44p.m after striking a vehicle. No one in the church was injured. About 15-20 people were in the building at the time. A 6p.m. service had just concluded.
After the red vehicle drove through the church, it then hit a gas meter on the other side.
There were two passengers in the vehicle, but only one had severe injuries. This passenger had a pole through the shoulder.
The driver attempted to leave the scene, but the churchgoers were able to stop him from leaving.
