Burglary suspect caused 2 crashes in a chase that ended on Elm St.
HOUSTON, TX- A man was caught by police after attempting to avoid them and after causing two crashes in southwest Houston on Feb. 7th, KHOU reports.
The chase began at 6000 Southwest Freeway, close to Fountain View Drive. The driver was being pursued because he was a burglary suspect.
Near Westward and Gulfton, the fleeing suspect caused the first crash to occur. No specific details on this crash were provided other than that the other driver involved hit an apartment complex. However, it is known that this innocent driver was hospitalized.
The at-fault driver continued to drive until he crashed at 6200 Elm Street. This crash resulted in a vehicle catching on fire.

Law enforcement finally caught the suspect near Westward and Gulfton. The man had continued his evasion of police by attempting to flee on foot after his car was disabled.
