Airplane crashes near Dunham Field
HARRIS COUNTY, TX- A plane crash near Beaumont Highway and Adlong Johnson Road injured two occupants on Feb. 12th, KHOU11 reports.
The two occupants, one a pilot and another a passenger, were both injured and hospitalized. Life Flight had to be utilized for them around 5:15p.m on Sunday. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
No specific make or model was reported on the plane that crashed. Images show a small aircraft with a heavily damaged front.
The route of the aircraft that day was outlined by FlightAware. There was an initial departure from West Houston Airport at 1:57 p.m. with a stop at Baytown at 2:25 p.m. Then the plane left Baytown at 3:47 p.m. The plane was due to arrive in Crosby at 4:33 p.m. but did not appear as it ended up crashing.
The cause of the crash is unknown right now.
