Car crash on Voss Rd. involves police car during carjacking chase
HOUSTON, TX- A police officer crashed while chasing a carjacker through Hunters Creek Village on Feb. 17th, KTRK reports.
The crash happened at Voss Road and Memoral Drive, and the police vehicle was employing its lights and sirens at the time.
Both drivers sustained small injuries from the crash.
The two vehicles involved were left damaged. The police car was very damaged in the front and the Tahoe was damaged on its back.
Regarding the carjacking chase, the suspect had led police on a chase that stemmed from 6900 Richmond Avenue all the way to the intersection at Hempstead Road and Bingle Road.
It was while on this chase that the officer was involved in the crash.
