Car fatally strikes elderly woman on Hillcroft Street
HOUSTON, TX- An auto-pedestrian crash on Hillcroft Street left a 71 year-old woman dead on the night of April 11th, KTRK reports.
It was around 11:15p.m. when the victim exited a METRO bus and was struck crossing a crosswalk nearby. She was seen walking with the assistance of a walker.
When first responders arrived at 6600 Hillcroft Street, they met the 23 year-old driver. The driver did not seemed to be impaired in any way.
The pedestrian was hospitalized, but she soon passed away.
