2 dead after crash involving big rig on FM-565 in Mont Belvieu
CHAMBERS COUNTY, TX — Two people died late Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle wreck on FM-565 in Mont Belvieu, according to Click2Houston.
The accident happened at the intersection with Eagle Drive, northwest of Mont Belvieu City Park. It was first reported shortly after 11:00 a.m.
Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances behind the crash, but a black vehicle and a tractor-trailer appeared to have been involved.
The ramp from FM-565 to Eagle Drive was expected to remain blocked for hours as crews responded to the scene. Alternate routes were recommended.
At this time, local police have not identified the parties involved or released any further details.
