Police investigate fatal 2-vehicle crash in northwest Houston
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that happened at Magnum Rd and Sherwood Ln on Sunday, according to KTRK.
The driver of a Chevy Tahoe was driving south on Magnum Rd and was trying to turn left onto Sherwood Ln when they failed to yield the right of way and collided with a BMW around 9 p.m.
Two children and two adults were in the Tahoe, while the driver was the sole occupant of the BMW.
One adult in the Tahoe died in the collision. One child was ejected from the Tahoe. Rescue crews transported the ejected child and the two other people from the SUV and the BMW driver to area hospitals.
Authorities believe speed may have also been a factor in the wreck.
