Police investigate fatal motorcycle crash in west Houston
HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, the Houston Police Department is investigating a deadly motorcycle wreck that occurred at Chimney Rock Rd and Woodway Dr on Wednesday.
A 19-year-old woman was riding a purple Yamaha YZF motorcycle while weaving through traffic around 11:15 a.m. when she ran a red light and hit a brown Mercedes-Benz crossover SUV that was turning left on a green light.
The collision ejected the woman from the motorcycle.
First responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
