One killed in single vehicle South Highway 288 crash near Houston
PEARLAND, TX- One person was killed in a single-vehicle collision on South Highway 288 in Pearland on August 18, according to the Houston Police Department.
At approximately 1:25pm, a driver lost control of his vehicle near the 6700 block of South Highway 288. The vehicle then swerved across multiple lanes of traffic, rolling into a grassy area near the highway and ejecting the driver. The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after.
