1 killed, 1 hospitalized in crash off of Tomball Parkway
HOUSTON, TX- A driver who was repairing his car on the side of Tomball Parkway was fatally hit by an SUV and then run over on Sunday.
ABC13 reports that the driver’s Honda stopped near Greens Road, in the middle lanes of Tomball Parkway. There was not sufficient lighting for these lanes and an SUV rear-ended the stalled vehicle. The driver had exited the vehicle to repair the car and was run over when the car was hit by the SUV.
The driver passed away. The SUV driver was hospitalized but is expected to survive.
