Pedestrian run over on New Years Day on Gulf Freeway
HOUSTON, TX- A man was killed as he was running across the Gulf Freeway around 1 a.m. on January 1st, KHOU11 reports.
The driver who struck the man was a woman driving with her five children in the car.
Heavy fog diminished visibility accident in the area where the crash occurred, near Woodridge.
The pedestrian walked into the path of the woman’s vehicle and the woman was unable to avoid hitting him.
The man died at the scene. No one in the vehicle was hurt from the crash.
