AT&T truck hits officer near Braeswood
HOUSTON, TX – A person driving an AT&T work truck collided with a police officer near S Loop W and Timberside Dr on Wednesday, according to KTRK.
The officer was running a radar when he stepped into traffic around 2:15 p.m. The officer tried to wave down the AT&T driver, who was allegedly speeding when he was struck by the vehicle.
Rescue crews transported the officer to an area hospital.
The collision shattered the AT&T’s work truck’s windshield.
It is unclear if the AT&T work truck driver will be cited for the collision.
