Collision leaves motorcyclist dead on Eastex Freeway
HOUSTON, TX- A 42 year-old male motorcyclist crashed into a white GMC 2500 pickup truck and died on the Eastex Freeway on March 4th, the HPD reports.
The GMC truck had slowed down near 3600 Eastex Freeway due to a flat tire. While on its way to the sidelines of the highway, the damaged truck was rear-ended by a black Suzuki Hayabusa around 7:25p.m.
Both vehicles had been heading south when the incident happened.
After the incident, the truck driver was determined to not have been impaired. The motorcyclist, however, died at the scene.
The investigation for this case remains open.
