Driver accelerates into The Catch on South Post Oak
HOUSTON, TX- An older man accidentally drove into The Catch, sending people to the hospital, on Wednesday night, KHOU11 reports.
The driver was stopping at this location to have dinner with his wife. He attempted to brake in the parking lot, but accidentally pressed the gas pedal. The vehicle then proceeded to crash into the restaurant at South Post Oak and North Loop around 5p.m.
Among those sent to the hospital was an eleven year-old and a family that was right by the wall that was crushed.
Customers described the accident as being sudden and loud. The restaurant will take some time to reopen.
The driver has not been charged for anything so far. The incident seems to have been an accident.
