Driver attempts to leave after killing pedestrian on Westheimer Road
HOUSTON, TX- A woman was killed by a suspected intoxicated driver while crossing a street in Houston on Oct. 15, KTRK reports.
At 6400 Westheimer Road on a Saturday morning, bystanders forced a driver to stay at the scene after the driver had fatally hit a female pedestrian. The pedestrian had been walking across the Westheimer and Winrock streets with another woman when a truck hit the one woman.
The driver attempted to leave, but witnesses ensured that the driver could not leave.
