Driver hospitalized, passenger killed in crash off of Briar Forest Dr.
HOUSTON, TX- A 21 year-old driver injured himself and killed his passenger after losing control of the speeding vehicle and crashing the vehicle off of 1400 Briar Forest Dr. on Jan. 2nd.
The Houston Police Department reports that the 20 year-old female passenger died at the scene after the BMW 328 hit a tree around 12:35p.m.
The driver had been speeding while driving westbound on Briar Forest Dr., and he was thrown from the vehicle when it crashed. He was hospitalized and even had to have surgery. He does not face charges at this time.
There is an investigation being conducted into this case.
