HCSO responds to fatal crash on Grand Pkwy in SW Tomball
HARRIS COUNTY, TX — One person died last Friday afternoon, September 1, after a crash on the Grand Parkway in southwest Tomball, reports ABC13.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the fatal wreck occurred on the westbound lanes of the parkway (State Route 99) at Cypress Rosehill Road. It was first reported by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez at 1:07 p.m.
Officials have not said what led up to the collision, but two vehicles were involved, and one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A section of the westbound parkway was shut down at Mueschke Road as first responders worked the scene, forcing westbound traffic to divert.
No further information has been made available as of this writing, and no charges have been reported.
