One killed in single-vehicle US Highway 59 collision
HOUSTON, TX- One person was killed in a single-vehicle collision on US 59 (Eastex Freeway) on Sunday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.
At approximately 3:20pm, officials reported a crash involving a single-vehicle that lost control near the 15300 block of the Eastex Freeway, crossed multiple lanes of traffic, and hit a barrier. The driver was transported to an area hospital but died due to accident-related injuries.
