Pedestrian fatally struck by on-duty police cruiser on East Freeway
HOUSTON, TX- An officer struck and killed a pedestrian at 7300 East Freeway while responding to a call last night, Fox 26 Houston reports.
The officer did not have any lights or siren on when the person was hit. The victim died onsite around 2a.m.
The victim was an unidentified 35 year-old man.
The Vehicular Crimes Division is handling the investigation into the case.
