Three car crash leaves two HPD vehicles rear-ended in Houston
HOUSTON, TX- A suspected drunk driver caused a crash that sent an officer to the hospital and involved two HPD vehicles on Feb. 25th at Wilcrest Dr., KTRK reports.
Around 11p.m., the driver who displayed signs of intoxication rear-ended the first HPD vehicle at Wilcrest Dr. and Briar Forest Dr. That HPD vehicle that was first hit was then pushed into the back of the second cop car.
No names of those involved have been released yet. It is known that one of the officers had to be hospitalized, although no specifics details were provided on the extent of any injuries.
The at-fault driver was arrested for possible intoxication.
