1 dead, 1 injured following single-vehicle collision on S I-45 service rd
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Houston Police Department, one person died and one person was hurt in a single-vehicle crash at 4700 I-45 service rd on Sunday.
A man was driving a white Toyota Tacoma southbound when he lost control of the vehicle, strayed off the road, and entered the grassy divider, colliding with multiple trees and a metal pole around 2:20 a.m.
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. They transported a 21-year-old female passenger to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The HPD Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
