1 dead after motorcycle crashes into Honda on Westheimer Rd.
HOUSTON, TX- A motorcyclist died after colliding with a turning vehicle at 8000 Westheimer Road on Feb. 26th, the HPD reports.
Around 4:30p.m., a westbound Honda Fit was turning left from Westheimer Road when it was hit by a speeding Yamaha motorcycle. This occurred as the Honda passed the eastbound lanes.
The Honda was flipped onto its side from the collision. It also ended up facing in the other direction from which it had been driving.
The 38 year-old male motorcycle driver was killed at the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was not harmed. This driver cooperated with police and did not show signs of impairment.
Both the Houston Fire Department and the Houston Police Department responded to this call. An investigation into this case is still occurring.
