1 dead following 2-motorcycle crash in northwest Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A male died in a two-motorcycle collision near Gessner Road and West Road on Tuesday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

A Hispanic male was riding a Honda Grom south on Gesner Road when he collided with a male riding a Suzuki GXSR as they were turning onto West Road around 9:44 p.m.

The Hispanic male was thrown from the Honda and hit the pavement. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Suzuki rider suffered minor injuries.

Authorities determined the Suzuki rider was not impaired.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
