1 dead in 2-vehicle crash on South Post Oak Road in Houston
HOUSTON, TX – One person died in a two-vehicle collision on the 11100 block of South Post Oak Road on Sunday, according to the Houston Police Department.
A 60-year-old man was driving a gray Toyota Corolla north on South Post Oak Road as a 45-year-old woman was driving a white BMW south. The woman driver tried to turn onto Benning Drive and failed to yield the right of way to the Toyota, hitting it around 1:30 p.m.
First responders transported both drivers to an area hospital, where the Toyota driver died. The BMW driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Vehicular Crimes Division of the Houston Police Department.
