1 dead in motorcycle collision on Rankin Road
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, one person died following a fatal motorcycle crash on Rankin Road Friday night.
Kyle Devlon Benavidez was performing wheelies in a 2025 Kawasaki ZX10-R motorcycle in a private parking lot near 1211 Rankin Rd when he struck a curb and crashed around 10:49 p.m.
First responders transported Benavidez to an area hospital, where he died.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
