1 dead in multi-vehicle collision near Woodland Heights
HOUSTON, TX – According to KHOU, one person died in a multi-vehicle crash near Woodland Heights early Thursday morning.
A 31-year-old woman was driving a car at high speeds at 3:10 a.m. when she hit the highway barrier and rolled over multiple times. The driver was ejected during the accident. She died from her injuries.
An SUV driver hit the crashed vehicle. The SUV driver then exited their vehicle and was struck by another car.
A fourth driver then hit the initial car before a fifth car slammed into it.
First responders transported the SUV driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
