1 extricated after concrete pump truck overturns on SH-99 near Tomball

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — Two people were sent to a hospital Tuesday morning after a crash involving three trucks on State Highway 99 near Tomball, reports ABC13.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the wreck occurred in the 7800 block of the westbound lanes (Grand Parkway) approaching Boudreaux Road. It was first reported at around 4:00 a.m.

According to an early investigation, a concrete pump truck rolled over the median after colliding with another truck. Authorities said a third 18-wheeler was also impacted, but the vehicle only received minor damage.

Responding fire crews worked to extricate the driver of the overturned concrete truck. He and the second driver were both transported to a local hospital where they were listed in fair condition.

The driver of the third truck was not reported hurt.

At this time, authorities have not provided further information regarding the cause of the wreck. No charges have been confirmed.
