1 person died in auto-pedestrian accident on North Freeway
HOUSTON, TX- A male pedestrian was fatally struck on North Freeway at the West Cavalcade Street intersection on Feb. 8th.
The Houston Police Department reports that the man was struck around 6:50p.m. at 3000 North Freeway.
The approaching white Ford Hatchback hit the man while driving south on this road. The pedestrian was crossing the road by heading east when he was hit while crossing at the Cavalcade intersection.
Medical personnel at Ben Taub General Hospital announced the death of the victim when the body arrived at the hospital. The victim has not been identified by name yet.
The driver has also not been identified, although it has been reported that she is 45 years-old. She was released by authorities after they were able to ask her some questions.
