1 sent to ER following semi-truck crash in Jacinto City 

JACINTO CITY, TX – One person was taken to a hospital after a crash with a semi-truck in Jacinto City on Wednesday.

The incident happened before 9:45 a.m. on Interstate 10 Frontage Road. Click2Houston said that according to METRO and the Houston Star, the truck driver crashed into a bus shelter.

The impact left one person with non-life-threatening injuries, who was taken to the hospital. Authorities did not say whether the injured person was the truck driver, a truck passenger, or another person.

The collision blocked four frontage road lanes and the entrance ramp.

No lane reopenings have been reported, and the cause of the crash is not immediately clear.
